2. 2nd East vs West 2010
3. T-18TH WBPT AC 2010
4. 2 Satty’s this year
My Partner is Nick Syrigos
Team name: Standing Ovation
Finishes: won 2/3 sattys played in, 1st in $1000 cash tourney Chicago, 8-0 in
prelims @ ECBPC 2010
If I win??? I would have to break down and get the girl a ring and a nice
wedding. It has been 5 years..lol...oops!
Change??? To have more of an event at the satellites, awards ceremony at the WSOBP, that stuff may be cheesy but it does bring people back and also makes people want to be better.
Nick Syrigos- I placed 17th in the WSOBP IV (Stl's Smokey and the bandit). I Took top 33 this past year in the WSOBP V, I took 2nd in AC last year, I took top 16 this year in AC (All Pongtracker Stl). I have won only 2 bids this year and a 1K in Chicago.
My partner is Dan Range. Our team name is STANDING OVATION
(the 2011 WSOBP champs) This will be our first big tournament besides ECBPC 5K.
We placed 14th in the ECBPC.
When we win the WSOBP VI, I will take the money and pay off some college loans
after my partner and I (with our girls) go on a trip out of the country.
I don’t believe there is much to change to make it better. I think making any
big changes will hurt the game more then making it better. We just need to find
a way to keep the mediocre teams coming back. The sport is great! Each
tournament we all go to has become like a meeting spot for friends. I have met
a lot of cool and exciting friends that I would have never met if it wasn’t for
a game we used to play at parties to just get wasted and be competitive while
doing it. I like the way things are and believe there is no good reason to fix
something that is not broken.
